Michael is an experienced teacher of fire safety design and the regulatory environment. He has provided workshops throughout New Zealand on Building Code and Acceptable Solutions helps dozens of consent officers and practitioners help in understanding the fire regulatory system. All students benefit from one or two day workshop on fire regulations.
Michael began teaching at BOINZ and went on to assist with Future Skills and now also offers private tailor made sessions both online and in classroom sessions. He has most recently helped develop the NZ Diploma in Fire Engineering for Open Polytechnic.
For the first time a Fire Engineering undergraduate qualification is available in New Zealand. We are privileged to be involved in writing this full comprehensive course on all aspects of fire design and the regulatory system.
